South Africa have hit the front in Cape Town for the first time in their titanic clash with the All Blacks.
Trailing from early on as Damian McKenzie nudged the visitors in front with three penalties to Handre Pollard’s lone effort, the Boks have scored the only try of the contest so far.
While we had to wait for a five-pointer, the Boks effort was an absolute doozy built on clever trick moves before some good old-fashioned South African power finished things off.
The game started with a quick change of throwers. Malcolm Marx handed the ball to Cheslin Kolbe, who found Ruan Nortje before the Boks launched a maul.
Defending for all their worth, the All Blacks repelled the initial attack before the Boks went through the gears to find captain Siya Kolisi, who smashed his way over the line.
