We’re into week 5 of Major League Rugby 2022 and Austin Gilgronis have been the dominant force thus far.
Last night they put reigning champions LA Giltinis to the sword in an impressive home performance in what was a heated derby fixture between the two sides owned by Adam Gilchrist.

In last night’s clash, the Gilgronis were starting to pull away from LA with a breakaway try from winger Connor Mooneyham.
The 26-year-old dotted down under the posts for an automatic 7 point score (a rule in MLR) before Giltinis flanker Angus Cottrell tried to take matters into his own hands.
Watch as the Austin waterboy takes matters into his own hands as the ball makes its way back to halfway.
