Awesome video shows Fijian rugby players performing in almost underwater conditions

Fiji’s connection to rugby is more than a sport. The Fijian style of play, marked by breathtaking runs, creative offloads, and dazzling tries is a testament to their love for the sport and their unique approach to it. They have a rich history in the world of international rugby, from their incredible dominance in the 7s circuit to their wonderful creativity in the 15s game.

Their majestic playing style has to come from somewhere, and Claire Pincher may have found just the location. A video has been shared around the world of some young Fijian players throwing the ball around in some wonderfully chaotic conditions.

Playing on a waterlogged pitch that could have called for armbands, the players looked as if they were thoroughly enjoying themselves in the way rugby should be played.
