Bayonne score 'one of the best tries you'll ever see' in latest match against Exeter

In the battle of the south-west, Bayonne defeated a travelling Exeter side on Sunday in the fourth and final round of the Champions Cup pool stages.

Despite losing away in France, Exeter will continue their journey in the competition as they look forward to welcoming Bath to Sandy Park in the knockout stages. Bayonne, on the other hand, find themselves entering the Challenge Cup with an away journey up north to Edinburgh in April.

The south-west French side exited the Champions Cup in style, with one of the greatest tries ever likely to be seen. Although it wasn’t enough to keep them in the competition, this will go down in the memories of many.
