Ronan O’Gara is known for many things, but speaking French isn’t at the top of the list. Well that’s all about to change now as a video has emerged of the La Rochelle Head Coach delivering an intense speech to his men in fluent French.
In typical ROG fashion, even the non-French speaking fans can feel the intensity of his words as his team listens intently to the charismatic coach.

The 46-year-old is one of the most decorated rugby men in the sport, with two Champions Cup victories as a player and two consecutive Champions Cups under his belt so far as a coach.
During his playing days, he was one of the feistiest, most intelligent, and most talented fly halves of his time. Even then, O’Gara was a true leader on and off the field.
Playing at fly half, one of the most complicated and intense positions on the field, O’Gara was able to read the game like so few others. It was this incredible game management that kept him without serious opposition for the Ireland shirt for so many years.
