Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend made a dramatic U-Turn on his decision to leave Finn Russell out of his squad after recalling the fly half yesterday.
Townsend’s orginal decision left the majoirty of fans and pundits with raised eyebrows, and Russell’s recent performance has only added to the suprise of his ommision.
Playing against Perpginan, Russell came on in the 41st minute and still managed to remind everyone of just how much of an amazing player he is.

Perhaps it was a performance driven out of anger, perhaps it was Russell with nothing to lose – either way he clearly made Townsend rethink his orginal decision.
Now the question is whether or not he actually plays for Scotland at the weekend and I’m pretty sure I know that the fans would want…
