Toulouse are currently leading La Rochelle 13 – 6 in a brutally physical Top 14 final at the Stade de France.
As one would expect when two giant sides collide there have been some giant carries and tackles throughout the first half.
One such carry was from secondrow Emmanuel Meafou who left one of the game’s best tacklers in Levani Botia sat on his backside.
The Australian raised Meafou is pushing to be eligible for France by the time the World Cup comes around and you can see just why Les Bleus want him in their squad.
Even the best get it wrong and when you get it wrong against a 145kg second row it’s just that much worse.
Hopefully, Botia is alright and will come back on.#STSR #Top14 #Top14Final pic.twitter.com/pe8Ube2Z4S
