The 2023/24 Investec Champions Cup is a mere two days away from kick-off.
As European and South African Rugby’s top clubs get ready to battle it out on the pitch to decide who the best side across the three major European leagues is.
The tournament organisers arranged a media day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which will play host to the 2024 final.
Chatting with the various media stakeholders, a player representative from each competing team offers their views on the upcoming competition.
With some of the biggest names in the game present, it was a unique opportunity to get a feel for how players were feeling post-Rugby World Cup.
As the day went on and the players went about their media commitments, one challenge that was out of the norm was a shot at the Tissot Downtime Strength Challenge.
Utilising a punching machine, the players were given a chance to give the bag their best shot.
The results may raise a few eyebrows, but it is safe to say you wouldn’t want to be on the end of any player’s power!
