Judging by his post-match interview, Harlequins and England prop Joe Marler was clearly overjoyed with the return of fans to rugby matches.
Speaking to BT Sport after Quins’ 44-33 victory over Bath, the veteran was all smiles, saying “I think, it is unbelievable to have the fans back.”
In typical Marler fashion, the interview quickly took a humourous tone. Make no mistake, the legendary rugby funnyman was serious about having crowds once again.
A crowd of 4,000 was on hand to witness Harlequins get the win.
Afterwards, Marler brilliantly put into words what many have been wanting to hear for so long:
