Joe Marler is a hot topic on twitter at the moment after fans try to work out what he said that caused Jake Heenan of Bristol to completely lose his cool.
In a physical encounter at The Stoop, the two sides were preparing for the scrum when the Harlequins loosehead muttered something which generated a huge reaction from the Bristol players.
Much of the Bears scrum went straight for Joe Marler and Jake Heenan in particular seemed infuriated with his comments. Heenan took several minutes to fully calm down with a number of his teammates trying to help reduce tensions.
At the time, little was done about the scrap however social media has since been awash with people questioning exactly what Marler had said and whether he overstepped the mark.
Bristol captain, Steven Luatua took to twitter to public condemn Marler, and the Quins man did reply with an apology – so what do you think was said?
