Throughout its history, South African rugby has worked hard to develop and maintain its reputation for immense physical pressure and having powerful specimens.
The formula has worked with great success and as is shown in the video, playing to those strengths is clearly instilled at every level.
The sheer size of many of the schoolboys is also something we’ve grown accustomed to. In fact, some already resemble fully-grown men. This provides for some truly cringe-worthy shots that will leave you holding your ribs.
There’s a fair chance that one day soon we’ll be looking back and remembering at least one or two of these youngsters after they’ve made it in the national side.
