There are ways to celebrate tries, and there are ways not to. The below is very much the latter of the two.
While celebrating a try during a grassroots game of rugby, the player in question was clearly so thrilled about his touchline finish that he decided to boot the ball away in jubilation.
Clearly not fully aware of his surroundings, nor the power of his boot, the unnamed wide man blindly thumped the oval ball as hard as he could over the dead ball line. Unfortunately for the player, and the innocent spectators behind, his powerful nudge gained no real height and cascaded with the head of a young girl minding her own business behind the line.
Pleasantly enjoying her time at a local rugby game, the last thing this young girl would have expected would be to have become such an integral part of the match – but there you go, you never know when you could get called up.
Taking the hit like a champ, the future star struggled back to her feet as she was consoled by the offending, albeit immensely apologetic, player.
