Owen Farrell expected to miss World Cup opener following red card

The England Vs Wales game hasn’t given us a huge amount of highlights, but Owen Farrell’s shoulder will no doubt be the talk of the rugby community after todays match.

Known by many opposition fans as ‘Shoulder Boy’, Farrell has lit the beacons in the Welsh valleys with a ‘trademark’ shoulder hit.

The illegal hit has left Farrell in boiling hot water as he saw his marching orders upgraded to a red card after leaving the field, meaning the minimum ban he could face is 3-matches.

This will leave England short of their captain as they take on Argentina in their World Cup opener.
