Powerhouse Tongan Thor leaves opposition on his arse with HUGE handoff

Reds prop Taniela Tupou produced a devastating fend on Brumbies centre Irae Simone during Saturday’s Super Rugby AU match in Brisbane.

The Wallabies front rower received the ball from James O’Connor and dismissed Simone with a brutal right arm handoff which put the Brumbies player on his backside at Suncorp Stadium.

Tupou, known as ‘Tongan Thor’, has a reputation for being one of the most powerful props in the game and has been one of the stars of Australian rugby over the past couple of years.

In the end the Reds snuck a 24-22 win through a late O’Connor penalty.
