Referee knocked over then spat out of Montpellier and Glasgow Warriors brawl

Montpellier and Glasgow Warriors came to blows late in Saturday’s European Champions Cup clash, with Springbok Bismarck Du Plessis at the center of it. Referee JP Doyle was also in the middle of the melee, as he was knocked over then spat out as multiple players joined in.

Du Plessis was yellow carded for his part, as was Glasgow’s Ruaridh Jackson.

Montpellier went on to win 36-26.
