2021 was a year of highs and lows for New Zealand rugby. If you’re an All Blacks fan, there’s much to celebrate with depth and electric talent for the future. There have also been some major issues exposed at the hands of more physical sides. Nevertheless, there were some moments of brilliance worth sharing.

This year saw another successful Rugby Championship campaign, multiple centurions, and many new faces gaining quality experience. However, questions were also raised as to the quality of some opponents, with more than one lopsided victory coming against tier 2 nations.
Back-to-back, season-ending losses to northern hemisphere nations left a particularly bad taste in the mouths of many supporters. Couple this with the rumours about drastic overhauls to tactics and things begin to look a little foggy going into 2022.
Putting all of that aside, here are some very memorable moments from 2021.
