All Blacks lock Brodie Retallick got away with a questionable challenge on Wallabies captain Michael Hooper during Saturday’s Bledisloe Cup opener in Auckland.
Hooper was on the floor at a breakdown and had raised his arms in the air to plead innocence with the referee when Retallick blindly cleaned out the unexacting Wallabies star from behind.
Hooper immediately appealed to the linesman as he got back to his feet but nothing was picked up by the officials at Eden Park.
