Sam Cane out of opener after picking up injury in warm up

New Zealand have had the worst possible start to the World Cup after their captain Sam Cane has been injured during the warm up.

Cane will be replaced by Dalton Papali’i at open side flanker, whilst Brodie Retallick will take his place on the bench.

This is a huge issue for an All Blacks side already suffering with injuries as they line up against a French side filled to the brim with young talent.
