United Rugby Championship outfit, the DHL Stormers, departed the Cape Town summer for the English spring as they took on Gallagher Premiership side the Northampton Saints in an exhibition fixture at Franklin’s Gardens.
Emerging with a 45 – 29 victory, the mix-and-matched Stormers put right a few issues that saw them lose to the Vodacom Bulls a week ago in the URC.
Leading the charge for the visitors was dynamic backrow Hacjivah Dayimani, who scored a sublime long-range try in the second half.
Going the length of the pitch as the Stormers pounced on a Saints mistake inside their own 5m line before the number eight raced away.
Whilst the score itself was a thing of beauty, Dayimani’s celebration was pure gold!
