No player has landed more crucial kicks over the past fifteen years than Bulls and Springbok flyhalf Morne Steyn.
Now 38-years-old, Steyn once again proved that when it matters, he can still deliver the goods.
Staring down a rather shock home defeat at the hands of an impressive Edinburgh side, Jake White’s Bulls were awarded a penalty 50 meters out.
Without hesitation Steyn stepped up to the plate and put his team on his back once again.
With a steely look in his eyes, Steyn lined up a pair of poles that he has kicked towards thousands of times over the years.
Like clockwork his smooth approach to the ball was followed by a swift swing of the boot which in turn launched a rocket towards the Edinburgh poles.
As they say the rest is history as the Bulls escaped by the skin of their teeth and as he has been on countless times Steyn was the hero.
