Tongan Thor gets emotional with Sonny Bill after dramatic Super Rugby AU win

Queensland Reds and Wallabies star Taniela Tupou offloaded some emotion during a post-match interview after winning Saturday’s Super Rugby AU final.

The tighthead prop was instrumental for the Reds all season and during an interview with Sonny Bill Williams, Tupou showed just how much the win meant and how much he misses his family having not seen them since 2019.

The Reds beat the Brumbies 19-16 in a dramatic Super Rugby AU final on Saturday after a last minute try from James O’Connor in front of 40,000 fans at Suncorp Stadium.
