A preseason game between the Lions and Bulls ended in total drama in Johannesburg on Sunday when the hosts came within a metre of glory.
The 11-try game was end to end and featured some stunning tries for both sides and with the score sitting at 35-40 to the Bulls in the final minute, the Lions had a chance to steal the game.
Replacement hooker Jan-Henning Campher made a break down the blindside of a ruck and chipped the ball forward for scrum half Morne van der Berg to chase.
The young half back nudged the ball along the floor and regathered it on the opposition five metre line, but a last ditch tackle prevented him from scoring the winning try.
