Sale Sharks announced a new signing online in a hilarious manner.
Yesterday Premiership club Sale Sharks confirmed the signing of Tom O’Flaherty on a long term deal. O’Flaherty, who will join from Exeter Chiefs ahead of the 2022/23 season, has signed a 3 year deal.
The 27 year old, has been in flying form for Exeter in recent seasons, scoring 35 tries in 91 appearances for the Chiefs.
Sale head coach Alex Sanderson said about the signing “On the field, Tom’s record speaks for itself. He’s been a huge part of an Exeter side that’s been so successful in recent years and I’m confident he’ll be a fantastic addition”. “Tom is 27 years old and he’s coming here in his prime, with his very best years ahead of him. It’s a massive boost for the club and it’s a big indication of what we’re all about and where we’re trying to get to.”

Sale announced the deal in the usual fashion with very high quality and professional graphics, however, they took a different approach to announcing the signing on TikTok.
