Argentina and Tonga both scored some stunning tries but it was Los Pumas that put in a strong second half performance to win 45-16 in Leicester. The game was finely poised at 20-13 at halftime, but Argentina then lifted their game, watched by football legend Diego Maradona.

They now have one foot in the quarter finals, unless they lose to Namibia and Tonga pick up an unlikely win over Pool C leaders, New Zealand. The winner of this pool will play second place in Pool D, which will either be France or Ireland.

This was, for me, one of the best games of the World Cup. I know the score looks like a hammering, but it didn't feel like that at all. Both teams played the perfect spectator rugby - fast, wide, good angles, great offloads. The two Pumas wings, Cordero and Imhoff, were just so good. And Nicolas Sanches put in a masterful performance at flyhalf. If the Pumas can sort out their discipline issues (No. 5 lock, I'm looking at you), they can be real contenders.
