Mapimpi scores stunner in tight preseason clash with the Stormers

Makazole Mapimpi showed off his blistering pace to score a stunning try in a preseason game against the Stormers on Sunday.

The 29-year-old used his speed to chase down a kick and score a clinical try in the corner for the Sharks at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.

Yet despite this scintillating first half score, the Stormers came away with a 19-21 win on the first Super Hero Sunday of the year. Full match highlights are available below:

Mapimpi has scored 14 tries in 14 test matches for South Africa, one of which was an iconic score for the Springboks in the recent World Cup final against England at the tailed end of last year.
