After a hard fought game of rugby, many people say there are few things better than a beer, and it seems as though this opinion is shared by Springbok legend Frans Steyn.
The footage emerged following Steyn’s involvement in an incredible 28-21 comeback win with the Cheetahs against Western Province on Friday night.
After the final whistle, Steyn was filmed heading towards the fans before downing a pint with them in a matter of seconds.
The cheering crowd watched on, clearly loving what they were seeing from the veteran.

Fans on Twitter were equally impressed with Steyn’s interaction with the crowd.
Pedre Koekemoer posted “What a legend”.
Whereas Steve LI dubbed Steyn “The most chilled player in the game”.
The comment section on Twitter was also filled with fans suggesting that Steyn still deserves a places in the South Africa set up, even if that is in a behind the scenes role.
Aside from Frans Steyn’s antics at the end of the game, the result was huge for the Cheetahs as it continues their unbeaten record in the Currie Cup, and puts them in second place with two games in hand.
