Vodacom Bulls and Springbok winger S’Bu Nkosi has had a rather challenging season to date.
Missing a large chunk of the season due to personal reasons, the winger announced his return in a real way over the past weekend.
Having featured sparingly for the Bulls in the 2022/23 URC season, Nkosi got some much-needed game time playing for the Steve Hansen-coached World XV.
Facing off against a star-studded Barbarian’s squad, the Nkosi and the World XV played in an exhibition fixture that featured ended-to-end action from start to finish.
The flying winger was one of the standout performers showing his pace, vision and finishing at various key moments throughout the clash.
One moment however, he may wish to have back was his outrageously athletic attempted finish at the tail end of the first half.
Seemingly in a position to simply dive down low and go over, Nkosi took the far more entertaining yet risky aerial route.
Whilst he missed dotting down inside the white lines by a fine margin, the attempt was simply too good now to share.
Perhaps the most exciting non-try in quite some time?
S’Bu Nkosi is reminding SA Rugby fans of what he could bring to the Bok backline ahead of the Rugby Championship.
