Australia U20s full back Isaac Lucas made a stunning try-saving tackle against the All Blacks to help the Wallabies win the 2019 Oceana Rugby U20s Championship.

The Wallabies beat New Zealand 24-0 on the Gold Coast on Saturday but a spectacular tackle by Lucas to deny the All Blacks a point was one of the highlights from the game.

Australia were 9-0 up after 30 minutes when a Kiwi winger made a clean break down the middle of the pitch, stepped his opposite number, handed off the scrum half and headed for the corner.

The youngster had run 60 metres and looked certain to complete a fantastic solo try in the corner when Lucas appeared out of nowhere to deny the score in dramatic fashion.

Isaac plays his club rugby for Sunnybank in Brisbane in the Queensland Premier Rugby division and full match highlights from the junior Bledisloe Cup are available below:
