WATCH: Marchant scores lovely first try for Blues in Super Rugby

English youngster Joe Marchant scored his first try for Super Rugby side the Blues on Saturday having joined from Harlequins last year.

The 23-year-old made three appearances for England in 2019 in the centres and his first try down under helped the Blues to a comfortable win against the Waratahs.

Marchant used his slick footwork to cut inside two defenders from 10 metres out and score the Blues’ second try of the game.

The Blues won 12-32 at McDonald Jones Stadium leaving them second in the New Zealand conference after two rounds. Full match highlights are available below:
