A few days back we posted the biggest hits from the 2014 Aviva Premiership year, so here is a look at some of the best tries. They are all excellent and rather than focused on individual efforts, these are great team tries for the most part. Which is your favourite?

This is why I love RD. I would have missed Davey Wilson's contributions if not for your comment MisterDavid. Thanks for spotting that. He was obviously blowing hard after a long run but he hit a load of breakdowns and was composed enough to get that ball away. Fantasic spot, thanks!

As a one-off piece of awesomeness and physical freakery, definitely!

Impressive wasn't it? Davey Wilson has come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years.

The one when the Samoan tighthead nukes that guy in the loose is the best one, and it's not even close!

Ditto. I think the standard of tries overall has improved massively over the past couple of years, safe to say the Premiership has shaken its "Boring English rugby" tag.

Excellent. Delighted to see the team efforts celebrated like this. Even the Abendanon one, which the commentator described as a solo effort, was the result of some fantastic team play. Bath one, finished by Eastmond, is the best of the bunch for me. Has everything: forwards winning a ruck on their own line, hooker making a nuisance of himself and getting a great pass away. Vision, step, fend and acceleration from the centre. Great link play and support lines up the middle of the park. Good decision-making (ie when to make a run versus when it was not on having the wherewithal to smash it up a couple of times with the big boys (by the way, how did so many of them get up to the oppo try line after defending their own only a few seconds earlier!?) creating space for the final attack. Sublime flick pass and a typically evasive finish from Eastmond. An absolute belter.
