Unknown Australian fly half has been ripping it up in the Japanese Top League

Unknown Australian fly half has been ripping it up in the Japanese Top League

Australian playmaker Sam Greene has a pretty impressive highlights reel from the first half of the Japanese Top League prior to its cancellation in March.

The 25-year-old left Australia to join Toyota Verblitz in 2016 having made just six appearances for the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby.

The fly half/full back enjoyed a successful first half to the season before COVID-19 and steered his side to three wins from six in the Top League.

Greene played for Australia A Schoolboys in 2012 but Wallabies fans may be wondering how far he could have gone within the Australia setup if he’d stayed in the country.
