WATCH: Dramatic late try stuns Northampton in Premiership classic

London Irish hooker Dave Porecki scored a match-winning try against Northampton Saints on Friday night following a charge down in the 79th minute.

The assist was made by 6ft 8” lock Adam Coleman when the Australian international blocked an attempted box kick clearance by Saints replacement scrum half Henry Taylor.

The ball sat up nicely for Porecki to gather and dive over the try line in virtually the last play of the game to see the visitors snatch a dramatic 16-20 win at Franklin’s Gardens.

 

This win leaves Irish ninth in the Premiership and prevented Saints from claiming the top spot ahead of Exeter’s game against Sale Sharks on Saturday. Full match highlights are available below:
