Wellington score perfect lineout move in Mitre 10 Cup

Wellington executed a beautiful lineout move against Otago in the Mitre 10 Cup on Saturday to score under the posts.

The hosts had an attacking lineout on the opposition five-metre line and threw to the back. Lock James Blackwell then faked setting up a maul and peeled off the back of the set piece.

Blackwell then popped the ball up to winger Wes Goosen, who ran a hard line straight through a hole to score Wellington’s seventh try of the game.

Goosen went on to score a hat trick and help Wellington to a 54-24 win. Full match highlights are available below:
