The Barbarians will take on the Springboks at Twickenham on Dec 4th as the World Champions will look to avenge the defeat they suffered there in 2007. Weve organised an exclusive giveaway to coincide with the match.
As everyone knows, the Barbarians jersey and team is steeped in history and tradition as the team without a home ground has captured the imagination of rugby fans for many a year now. In recent times the invitation only side has had a few impressive results, beating the Springboks 22-5 in 2007, England 33-26 in 2009, and the All Blacks just last year, beating them 25-18 at Twickenham.
This year the Barbarians will once again be packed with stars from around the globe as theyll look to topple South Africa, who will be at the end of a Grand Slam tour. The final Baa Baas squad hasnt been announced yet but players such as Mike Phillips, Matt Giteau, Rocky Elsom, Chris Jack and a whole host of top players will be wearing the famous strip.
